How Operation Watchcap Began
In December 2025, a small group distributed 109 handmade watch caps to veterans at the Chattanooga VA Clinic.
It was a simple act.
But something meaningful happened.
Veterans accepted the caps with gratitude. Conversations began. Stories were shared. It became clear that what seemed like a small gesture carried real weight.
That day planted a seed.
Operation Watchcap was formed to continue that mission — not as a one-time event, but as an ongoing commitment.
We are a Tennessee-based nonprofit dedicated to serving U.S. veterans through handmade watch caps. Our work is guided by gratitude, community, and a belief that service should continue long after the uniform is folded away.
We are not political.
We are not commercial.
We are not transactional.
We are neighbors serving veterans.
Our Goal
1,000 caps delivered by December 2026.
Each cap represents:
• Time given
• Skill shared
• Gratitude expressed
We call our mission:
“Covering Those Who Covered Us.”
And we intend to do it well.
